This beautiful Shipwrecks of the Mid Atlantic Coast Map details most of the know shipwrecks in the area. Discover the story of the Faithful Steward, a British ship carrying 259 people and 400 barrels of copper coins from Ireland to Philadelphia. When she went down only 68 passengers survived. Ever since, coins have washed ashore in an area known as "Coin Beach" which is just north of Indian River Inlet. Read about the Mooncussers.
