Canvas Flag Two Pockets - Armies used to follow the flag on the battlefield. Navies used to be commanded by the signals of flags, which were strung together and raised in intricate codes. The purpose of flags being communication, it makes sense that they are colorful and easy to recognize, which in turn makes them popular as elements of home decor. Hammock and bunk-pockets were used in the Age of Sail. Using ship's canvas and cotton we combined the colorful fun of signal flags with practical and inexpensive wall storage. The 2 pocket measures 17.5"x22.25". Made from original ship's canvas, the pockets are lined with cotton. They are ideal for in and out mail, newspapers and magazines.
