Dory Bookshelf and Table - The narrowest house in Amsterdam is just a handsbreadth wider than the front door. To compensate for lack of living space the owner, a Mr. Black of Scottish ancestry, had a lifeboat moored in the canal in front. The lifeboat accomodates his parties and picnics. Mr. Black had a tiny dory constructed that fit in the house, and served as a bookcase besides planning the lifeboat picnics.

Our dory can be used two ways; as a bookshelf, or as a glass topped table. Two oars, glass top and wooden stand. Use as a table and fill inside with beach finds...upright...display your shells and books. Crackle finish wood. Measures 46.75" x 19.5" x 13".
