T33A Shooting Star Model Plane

T33A Shooting Star Model Plane - The Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star (also designated the TO-1) is an American-built jet trainer. It was produced by Lockheed and had its first flight in 1948. The T-33 was developed from the Lockheed P-80/F-80 and was initially designated TP-80C with subsequent changes to TF-80C and finally T-33A. Production occurred from 1948 to 1959. The T-33 has served in the air forces of over 20 nations, and continues to serve for some nations. Many T-33s were built on licence by Canadair for service in the Canadian Forces as the CT-33 Silver Star.

Totally handcrafted display aviation models. These beautiful handmade authentic replicas are made from the very finest grade of select kiln-dried Philippine mahogany wood. The replicas are made entirely by hand, from the hand carving of the fuselage, wings and tail section - to the sanding of the aircraft's contours. Every part is assembled precisely into place using the highest quality adhesive available. After shaping and sanding, the model passes through several stages of priming and sanding before it is hand painted to duplicate the actual colors of of a selected historical aircraft. Artisans detail from researched reference materials, including all the insignias, squadron badges, nose art, emblems and serial numbers to replicate the original aircraft to scale. Wingspan in. and Length in.
